Sewing Basics

This 4 session class for kids aged 8-18 (adult classes also available) will teach sewing basics and practice those skill while creating samples and 4 beginning sewing projects.

Sewing Basics Supply Kit with complete project supplies is required for this class.

Class will begin the exploration into sewing. Learn about the sewing machine and how to use it. Build sewing skill by creating samples and applying those skills in 4 skill building projects.

Seam allowance
Pressing seams
Matching seams
Turning Corners

Students are requited to supply basic sewing supplies (scissors, seam ripper, pins, ruler) and a sewing machine for class.

Sewing machine loaners are available upon request.
